My Khe Beach (also known as China Beach) islocated about 6km east of Da Nang and approximately 24km north of Hoi An. This beautiful beach of smooth sand stretches along the coast for 9km and has an average width of between 50m and 70m. The gradient is gentle, its protected location on the Son Tra peninsula buffers the autumn winds which usually restrict swimming when you are down the coast. This famous beach was used for recreation by U.S. Military personnel during the American War. The white sand beach is dotted with palm trees and overlooks the vast South China Sea.
