Itineraries

Day 1

Yangon arrival and sightseeing: (-/-/-)

Upon your arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by our tour guide. You will begin your day visiting Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and the Royal White Elephant camp. You will then check in at your hotel and continue sightseeing in Yangon. You will visit the Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda which holds a gigantic reclining Buddha, and go to the Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal Lake for a photo stop. You will also visit Yangon’s city center which features Sule Pagoda at city center and many colonial buildings which can be seen along the way. You will also be driven to downtown Yangon to visit China Town, explore the fruit markets and Yangon’s city center. You will finally visit the world famous Shwedagon Pagoda and witness the golden dome light up from the diminishing sunshine at sunset. Your overnight stay will be in Yangon.

Day 2

Yangon - Bagan: (-/-/-)

Early this morning, you will be driven to the Yangon airport where you will board your flight to Bagan. Your sightseeing includes a visit to the colorful Nyaung U Market, the Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration, and Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. A visit to Myinkaba Village will allow you to observe the process of making Traditional Lacquer handicrafts which is one of the main industries in Myanmar. You will visit Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece of the early-style temple which holds four impressive standing Buddha images. You will also see Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan and Dhammayangyi Temple which is noted for its remarkable brickwork. You may enjoy the sunset from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda. Your overnight stay will be in Bagan.

Day 3

Bagan - Mandalay: (-/-/-)

Early morning flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival in Mandalay, you will be driven to your hotel for check in. A full day of sightseeing is planned today in Mandalay. You will visit the Mahamuni Pagoda, the Kyauktawgyi Pagoda which maintains a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble, Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the world’s Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures, and Mandalay Palace. You will enjoy a beautiful sunset from Mandalay Hill. Your overnight stay will be in Mandalay.

Day 4

Mandalay - Heho - Inlelake: (-/-/-)

Early morning flight to Heho. Following your arrival, you will be driven to Inle Lake and begin sightseeing this wonderful and pleasant part of Myanmar by boat. You will visit the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the Floating Gardens, see the unique Leg-rowers using the traditional method of fishing in this area, observe the Silk Weaving process, see Stilt House Villages on the lake, and finally visit Nge Pe Chaung (Jamping Cat) Monastery. Your overnight stay will be in Inle.

Day 5

Inle Lake - Kalaw - Pindaya - Inlelake: (-/-/-)

You will be driven to Kalaw and Pindaya today. Following sightseeing in Kalaw, you will proceed to Pindaya, driving through the picturesque Scenery of this area of the country. You will visit the Pindaya caves, Pindaya lakes, and then see the working examples of the home based paper making and umbrella making industry. You will next proceed to the famous Inle Lake. Your overnight stay will be in Inle.

Day 6

Inle - Heho - Yangon Departure: (-/-/-)

Early this morning, you will be driven to the airport to board your return flight to Yangonin order to connect to your departure flight and say goodbye for now to Myanmar.
